P3 BA :Concepts & Case Studies Applications (C&C)

Dear ACCA Candidates,

I notice significant minority have P3 background knowledge but are somewhat frustrated that they are unable to articulate their answers in exams. C&C launched in Kasturi School of Accountancy (KSA) in PJ Campus is specifically designed to bridge that gap.

C&C are suitable for:

1. Re-sit students who are want to improve Exam Techniques
2. Existing P3 Students who want to practice on Q&A, in addition to PYQ.
3. Self-Study students benefits from the 2 Progress Tests marked by lecturer.
4. Full time students who want C&C to complement their existing P3 classes
5. Students with P3 knowledge background but unsure as to how to relate to case study applications.

Advantages of C&C:
1. Lecturer will use newly developed case studies questions in addition to PYQ
2. Highlight students weaknesses related to P3.
3. TWO progress tests are given and marked by lecturer personally.
4. Effective in focusing on exam techniques while economize on Lecture sessions.
5. Six Day Classes in 12 sessions.

Price:
1. RM180 only for ALL students
2. Price excludes Kaplan Revision Kit.

ON HOLIDAYS

Pics above: I seriously doubt you guys can attain the perfect physique in 2 weeks. Well, they should inspire you. Look at the gym guy's abs, 8 solid pieces. This guy must have spent hours on end to get that BUT at the expense of brain development!

Use this 2 precious weeks to rejunevate health both mentally and physically. Go for outdoor activities - swimming, jogging or sweat out in gym (But avoid the Arnold Scwarzenegger muscle men who usually are lacking in Grey Matter)

Have a great super relaxing fun enjoyable holidays.

Best wishes.

Hunting for a house said...

Sir been reading ur blog on and off, passed acca a few years back, and working with one of the Big4 in KL for a couple of years now. But would be interesting if you could post a blog of how the h*ll can a young working adult afford a home in KL now a days. With the stupid "Malaysia My Second Home" program, the houses in Malaysia are being bought by wealthy Middle Easterners using their "oil" money, directly inflating the housing market. Making it almost immpossible for people like me to afford homes. Probably have to buy in Jinjang or some ulu part of Ampang where water is always brown and black. Was checking out the I Propery website, bloody freaking dilapidated apartment in Puchong costs RM600k!!!, nothing against Puchong residents, but 600k is too steep for middle income people. Which freaking bank will want to loan me even 50% of the amount, even my parents wont loan me 50% of 600k. Studying acca allows us to breakeven quicker than our peers studying other disciplines such as medicine and engineering, but it does not mean we can ever afford a home in 3 years, from the time we start working. Costs of living here is not catered for the young working adults, sigh, and we're suppose to achieve Vision 2020, how to sustain that so called "Vision" if you have "homeless" grads.

Do you believe everthing the goverment tells you :)

Dear Anonymous,

The government's info is highly reliable if:

1. independent 3rd parties verify their statement
2. past track records that they walk the talk
3. ethically objective with minimal self review report. Government controlled media is far less reliable than foreign press or academicians in independent universities.

so we need to exercise good judgement of what we can trust or not. this applies to so much internet blogging rumour rumour.

Why the question?

Cheers
Marcus

Based on your reply;
1. independent 3rd parties verify their statement-Hard pressed to find one.
2. past track records that they walk the talk-Enough said.
3. ethically objective with minimal self review report. Government controlled media is far less reliable than foreign press or academicians in independent universities.-i think ethics is a new word for the government.

Exercising judgement for trust-How to, when everthing is controlled by the government.

Why the question?-Cos i wanna buy a house :)
